i grabbed the butt end of the loaf this morning to enjoy with some sunflower butter this morning. as i was putting into my lunchbox, i noticed this smiley face looking back at me. ain't he cute?

meet Sawtelle
if you ever want to hear a story that will kill about 4 hours of free time, ask Sawtelle about the time he went backpacking thru rural mexico. late one evening, he was heating a can of roast beef hash on the campfire, when it appeared...the chupacabra!!!
after a few minutes of frantic wrestling, the two of them unanimously called it a stalemate, and instead stayed up til the wee hours drinking some homemade tequila that chupacabra had in his backpack and playing boggle.
